Hi everyone, I'm looking to move to the Cleveland area and was wondering if someone could let me know about a specific area. The home North of Lorain (just a few streets from there) and in between 159th and 147th. I think this area is Jefferson, but I could be wrong. Is this area safe?

Yes. Very safe. I live not far from there and have some friends that live in that exact area.

Agree that Gordon Square is "hit or miss".
Westpark is maybe 15 minutes to downtown. It's awesome. And there are 10 different ways to get there.
I am very spoiled.

I would just bike, it's faster than the 22 bus (I bike that route everyday and beat it) and you get the exercise.

Yes, that area is considered probably one of the best in Cleveland in terms of safety.
It actually has more of the feel of an inner-ring suburb than does most of Cleveland proper. Whether that's a positive or not depends on one's tastes.

What about Jefferson moving further east, from w147th to w130th. Also north of Lorain?
