Have a kid who doesn't like to purchase new clothes. I'm not thinking of a Goodwill etc. More of a curated used clothes place for adults.

I think I remember one in Coventry, but I forget the name. Is it still there? Any other ideas?

The vintage shop, This Way Out, in the basement of the Beachland Ballroom on Waterloo.

Waterloo has a treasure trove of vintage shops. In addition to This Way Out, there's Star Pop Vintage, and I believe Blue Arrow Records has some vintage clothes as well.

It's a great place, but currently a Flu/COVID trap IMO.

Haven't been there in forever. Glad to know it's still a thing.

I appreciate your help. We decided to spend Christmas in Cleveland this year. We are renting a loft type apartment in the Superior Arts district for about a week. Son's girlfriend will visit after Christmas, and they will fly home to NYC Christmas Eve. We all collect vinyl and like retro vintage things.

Plans so far are shopping at thrift shops, The Rock Hall, Art Museum, and the Christmas Story House.

Open to other ideas. Other museums.

On Christmas Eve I want to visit a beautiful candlelight service. Someplace that is architecturally beautiful and Christmasy. We can't attend at an RC church as Protestants. A pipe organ is a plus. Anything open for dinner later?

Also, it would be great to hear some Alt Rock, Punk, Indie, etc. venues would be fun. I know the Agora from way back.

And ANY other Thrift Shops or places that sell Midcentury Modern furniture? Also, bookstores? Indie New or used.

SO looking forward to getting out of WARREN!

For punk, indie, alt rock try the Grog Shop or Happy Dog.

Beachland also offers an eclectic musical mix, heavier on jam bands, funk, Americana, GD cover bands…but also some indie, shoegaze and such. Agora also…sneaking in some metal bands as well…

Forest City Brewing is one of my sleepers…chill venue for local roots music, bluegrass, some blues.

Events: Live Music & more — Forest City Brewery

Also, don’t forget the House of Blues. They offer these genres, and host local bands as well (multiple venues within the facility).

Some good information! Thanks. I haven't been to The Agora since...get ready for this - 1979. It was pretty punk then. I think it was called The Agora Ballroom back then.
