Default Teaching in the Cleveland area...

Hello. I have been considering a move to Ohio for a while. (It's actually a toss up between Cleveland, OH and Baton Rouge, LA) I think I would probably prefer Cleveland, but I am so worried about getting a job. I looked at Youngstown a couple of years back and felt I would be lucky to get a job at Walmart. I now have my degree and would like to go into teaching. (Social Science / History)

I don't mind a bit of a commute (within 45 minutes) to a rural area if that would it would take. I was hoping someone could give me a heads-up on what the job market is like for teachers?
