Default west 30th and lorain

right now we live on west 133rd less than one mile away from the police station on 130th and 71 is right there also. its off of lorain and west but we got offered a house off of lorain and west 30th and i was wondering if the neighborhood was nice or if it was bad or like how it is here its ok here. we dont have children old enough to go to school yet so we arent worried about the school area we will b moved before they go to school... anyone have any idea from what i understand for the most part anything on west side is better than the east side i wouldnt know im from ashtabula we moved up her about year and half ago dont really leave house much except for groceries and work

W. 30th is cut off by St. Ignatius, both north of and south of Lorain. Is the house south of Chatham or north of Carroll?

W30th and Lorain (area) is in Ohio City. Like jam40jeff said W30th is cut off south of Lorain and there is no W30th off Lorain to the north.

It's most likely one of the W30ths north or south of that (from Fulton-Carroll to the north or from Monroe to Chatham to the south) or another road right in that general area.

Neither one is that bad IMO, but in general N of Lorain is nicer than S. It's not much better or worse than W133rd off Lorain, but it's more diverse and urban than that though. Crime isn't bad (for Cleveland). Another plus is that you'll be in walking distance from the Westside Market. I was thinking about possibly looking into buying or renting in that neighborhood some years back but saw some of the prices on the houses and the ones I saw were around 190k (much too high for me). I'm sure there are cheaper houses than that though, and that was some years back. Definitely my kinda neighborhood though.

Our receptionist at work lives in that area north of Lorain. She loves it. She bikes to the Westside market every Saturday getting fruits and veggies for the week. Her kid is about to enter grade school and she's actualy seriously considering the public school. Not sure which one it is over there.
Cleveland schools get a bad rap from a handfull that aren't great. There are many good ones.
