Yea, St. Patty's is a city wide drink fest. It's pretty crazy.
The really crazy part is how few accidents there are and drunk driving arrests. We may be drunken fools every March 17th, but we are responsible drunken fools.

I could care less what anyone thinks of my town.

I wouldn't care much either. We've had our handful of athletes leave over the years JUST because of the weather.-Stephon Marbury, Tom Guggliotta, Johan Santana (amongst other things) and we have NOT gotten athletes for the weather -

Anyway, I know it's not a big deal, just because he's a bonehead, but pro athletes pull weight in a social sense. TO many they are looked at as superstars, to me this tool is nothing but another d bag with a stupid haircut, but it sucks that there are now hundreds of thousands of people out there who took his comments serious and now think of Cleveland being a wasteland of Factories and that's BS.

I hope LeBron brings you guys a ring, you deserve it

He's not going out in Cleveland because the city hates him and he wouldn't be welcome anywhere.

Sounds like the words of a sore loser. He knows that his team will be lucky to win 1 game of this series, it's the only shots he'll be able to get in.

Chicago isn't exactly "paradise" either. The weather is just as bad there, if not worse a lot of times.

I thought what Joakim Noah said was hilarious and any fellow Clevelandite (agree or disagree, it shouldn't matter) who can laugh at himself every now and again will appreciate it. What he had to say after Game 2:

The guy's honest and, in a day and age where all the famous NBA players give the same old safe, boring responses, he is refreshing.

Also, Cleveland gets mocked and made fun of all the time. What makes this instance so special?

Who says we don't laugh, Llew? But, the dude isn't refreshing, he's an ugly, ignorant, spoiled moron who, as expected, was forced to eat his words on national TV. Besides, half the fun is getting under his skin in return. Are you suggesting we all go to the Q and agree with him? Should we cheer for him and hold up signs that say, "Yeah, Joakim, you're right...and, we love you!"

What makes this issue so special is that it was broadcast on a national stage. Suffice to say, we win.

He doesn't even realize how wrong he is. A lot of the factories have shut down. (not that this makes cleveland any better, but still, he can't even get a jab at one of american's most hated cities right). pathetic.

Cleveland doesn't have HALF the gang, drug, and murder scene chicago has. Unless of course, noah is into that sort of thing, which i wouldn't put it past him.

I have hated noah since his days at florida. Nothing but a whiny emo ***. So glad to see him lose to a team from Ohio, for once.
