There are some trees blocking my daughter's direct tv feed and they are no longer getting their HD channels.

They are looking for estimates on tree removal.

They have been told that it's a poplar tree.

Any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated.

We have used Mr. Brown's tree service....I don't know if he's in the directory or not - he sells wood by the cemetery on Hwy 17 in Browntown across from what used to be the one room schoolhouse. You have probably seen the wood stove burning in the wintertime....We just stopped by and talked to him about it I think. He did a great job for us and is such a nice man....and was very reasonable!

Here are some tips:

1) pay on completion, or only a very very modest down payment
2) get stump grinding, if any, in contract/service agreement
3) Ensure you have all wood removed from premises in agreement
4) Ensure you address sawdust and shavings..raked over, removed, whatever
5) Make sure you clear the area prior to arrival of removers

We just had a big tree taken down, $750, up here in New Bern and the guys doing it insisted that we understand all of the above, that they do and many many others do not. Though expensive, they were on time, worked quickly and flawlessly, did exactly what I was expecting, and left the area pristine. Could not have been more satisfied. Apparently, a lot of tree removers do not clean up as well, and they get follow up calls from lots of folks wanting them to finish jobs other companies have started and did not complete to satisfaction,

Why not just move the satellite instead of removing a perfectly good tree.
