This is big news for us. For the longest, we've only had a Food Lion on the island and had to drive 7 miles over the bridge to get to the Harris Teeter near Myrtle Grove. I know alot of people are very excited by this news...I know I am :-)

I also got very excited when I read the news this morning,
I don't even live on Pleasure Island but used to.

that was back when the Food Lion was by the now defunkt movie theatre and
boy was that place in need of some updating.

anyway , I am happy for you.

I'm with you Tuborg, not a big fan of FL either. With HT on the island, I'll have to cross the bridge a lot less frequently ;-)

Yeah in just are visits there over the last couple of years we always shopped at Harris Teeter or Lowes and drove past a couple of Food Lions.
