There must be plenty of young families since they're building new schools to accomodate them. Seems to be a mix of retirees and young families.

Default Young Families in Hampstead

I'm part of a young family in Hampstead, near Olde Point. We like living here, but it appears to have been growing faster than salaries can keep up with. I'm a nurse and work out of town because New Hanover pays so poorly. 6 or 7 years ago, it was all mobile homes and then Wilmington spread out, so it's definitely got some nice parts to it. We're debating on staying-we'd like to, but again, we're trying to find something to supplement the lower income in my field.
