Question Monkey Junction...

Hey all,
I live in Portland Maine and need to get out ASAP.. just doing a quick search at apartment pricing and it seems like Monkey Junction area if affordable and nice (at least looking at apt pictures). Was wondering if I could get some input on what living there is like. I have a 2 year old so ideally I would like a family friendly area with good schools.
Right now I'm a bartender/server but went to school for Marine Biology. I've heard the job market is bad in the Wilmington area but it's terrible here as well.

Any help would be great. Thanks!

It's a fairly commercial area, lots of stores restaurants, etc. If you don't mind being in more congested area, it's a nice area. Other areas much less developed, but you have a good drive when you need to go anywhere. From MK to beach is a bout a 20 minute drive. Don't have kids in school, so can't respond to that other than to say I belive schools in the MK area are as good as anything around here. I live there BTW.
