We are a racially-mixed family looking for an ethnically/racially-diverse beach community for renting house/condo in the summer but one that is also somewhat upscale (ie not party town, not too loud, relatively peaceful).

are the two most racially diverse beaches I've been to in the general area.

Try Wilmington NC, I think you might like it. I LOVED it. stuff to do year round, nice people , BEAUTIFUL BEACHES, and it is a racially diverse community, which is one of many things I loved about it

Their are 4 main beaches, writesville, carolina, kure, fort fisher,
