Because of their soft non conference schedule and their loss to Clemson, which now looks worse because of Clemson's loss to NC State.

For one Georgia is not even in the BCS top 10. A win over LSU would only earn them a Sugar Bowl bid.

The reason UGA is even in the SEC title game is because they didn't have to play Bama, LSU or Arkansas this season.
