Alright, do any of you guys think that Oregon can pull it off in the big house after the whole App. State thing? Or is Michigan going to be too fired up to redeem themselves? Any thoughts on final score?

Personally, I think MI is going to be bounce back and win by 2 or 3 scores.

I agree. I don't think Michigan will want to be embarrassed twice to start the season, especially in their own building. If they lose this one I think Lloyd Carr's firing is all but assured.

Michigan 35 Oregon 20

As an App fan, I can fully say that I hope Michigan wins every single game they get their hands on for the rest of the season. I'd LOVE for us to be the only bleak spot on that schedule.

I think they can take care of Oregon. They'll be fired up and Carr will be fighting for his job.

I thought Oregon has a shot at winning this game before the Michigan debacle last week. Now I know they have a shot. If Michigan loses this game they should forfit the season and start over fresh next year. This game can really make or break the season for the Wolverines. I think it is going to be a tough game with the Ducks pulling it out in the end.

The current spread is about 8 points. Oregon beat the University of Houston last week (no big deal). I think the 8 points is low and believe Michigan will win by 13 or more. Next week Michigan plays Notre Dame. Look for Notre Dame getting their heads handed to them! My game this week is Rutgers / Navy. Give Navy the 16.5 and take the over 48. I think Rutgers will crush them, GO KNIGHTS!

I would be shocked if Oregon scores less than five touchdowns against that weak Michigan defense. Of course the Ducks don't have a very good defense either. I'm thinking 42-31 Oregon.

If a div 1-AA team got the best of michigan, what div 1-A team can't get the best of those suckas?

Now now. It doesn't work like that. App State won I-AA Championships in 2005 and 2006 and played like a top tier team against Michigan.

USA Today ranks App #38
in all of D-I Ball, well ahead of all I-AA teams and most D-I teams.

Neither I nor that list claim App is a better team than Oregon, but do you really believe they aren't better than, say Florida International? Duke? Eastern MI?

I think Oregon can win, but it'll be no cake walk.

Oregon 187-183

Both teams defenses are a bit suspect, it just may be a high scoring affair.

Go Ducks!!

If we take care of UM, we gain nothing though (except a 2-0 record)
