When I was in high school and took Broadcast Video Production for 3 years I really liked interviewing people when I had a segment to do for school projects in BVP (Broadcast Video Production)
or I would like to be a Casting Director or Casting Assistant

I should add that you are not going to interview wildly famous people all the time. In the late 70s, because I was a news writer and DJ at my college radio station, I interviewed Talking Heads because they were playing nearby. They had a record contract, but they were thought of as an "Underground Rock Band." I was thrilled, though but I'm not much of a pop music fan - then or now.
I know all all Gay friendly. The last three are affordable. There are others, but off the top of my head those came to mind. As a major, that particular major tends to be Gay friendly.
Best of luck.
