I see some courses that were hundreds even thousands of dollars are selling for only a few dollars. Are these legitimate courses?

I've never heard of such a thing. Do you have an example? The only classes I ever see on Groupon are yoga and Pilates.

Coding bootcamps are now popular. They're not accredited colleges; they're an alternative way of getting training in coding. For many people, they need the skills more than they need the degree in computer science. If you can get the price way down through Groupon, then I'd say it's worth it. Otherwise, there are free websites where you can learn.

If they don't specify that they are accredited, they aren't.

Go to groupon and search for online courses. You will find many examples like their Holistic Remedies course for $9, Learn to Code with Python for $9 or Start your own Photography Business for $49.

Is University of Phoenix online accredited? I noticed they have 5 week semesters now, making one finish school faster. How do I find out if they are accredited or not?
