What type of business degree are you referencing - a bachelor's degree or an MBA?

First of all, it's important to understand that in order to find a place in the business world, you need to specialize at some point. You don't just come out of undergrad as a kid who "learned all about business management" and is generally great at everything; no business will take you seriously. Most business ventures are very complex and require many different team players. Are you going into Finance? Accounting? Brand marketing? Market Research? IT? Sales? Each of these areas requires different skills. The way it works is that you usually start out in one of these areas, find out more about what you like and what you're good at, and then go back for an MBA and move up to a more generalist business leadership role - but you don't usually start there.
