My husband and I will hopefully be moving to the CO Springs area but not
having much luck finding a place for horses and other livestock animals.
We currently have 4 horses and two mini donkeys
two small dogs and a goat and 2 Llamas. Seeking house on 5 or more acres with barn
or turn out sheds.. It is just my husband and I no children just animals..
We plan to sell our home here in TX but I wanted to start looking now if any one
has any suggestions please let me know.

Coming from Texas prices will be much higher. We are lower than coastal cities by a good margin, but Texas has the most affordable housing in America. Be prepared

Look east and/or south of COS for more land at less cost. If you go far enough east then you may be able to find what you need, but it won't be what most people would consider very scenic and it will be very windy. It gets really expensive near the mountains and close to town. Affordable horse property options are very limited. Affordable horse property rentals even more so. But they may be out there. Padmapper and realtor.com will be your best bets.

There are many horse folks who live in Penrose and commute to the Springs. Depends on where in the Springs you'll be employed and how far you are willing to drive.
