We have a "nieghborhood" fox that walks so properly on the sidewalk around here. My elder lady next-door neighbor find him/her basking in the sun in her back yard. It doesn't come in my yard, I assume because of the dog and him pooping and peeing back there.

All kinds of animals grace the Front Range. Heck, when I lived in the Denver area, we had a duo of owls that would hang around the townhouse complex. One had lost an eye and I could get within a few feet of it. It was a gorgeous animal...

I remember when I was a young girl, we had oodles of horny toads in the back yard. When they'd have babies they were so tiny and sooooooooo cute. I haven't seen a horny toad around here in years!!! The lady next door to me raises a few chickens for 4H at the state fair and this past spring a fox got one and ate it in my yard............. Not as pleaseant as watching one bask in the sun...........

No saxluva, Mule ARE fugly. They remind me of emaciated rats.

White tail are beautiful animals. It's a shame we don't have them here. Or maybe we do, I don't know, i've never seen any. You want to see alot of deer? Hang out at my dad's property over by the garden of the gods, near sunset.

They travel in huge herds. My Border Collie never had so much fun in his life till he moved here.

We too stopped the car and took pics! The deer had big ears, white spots on fawn colored fur. All in the western area. I think hearing these animal stories is the best! I think it is just great around here. My dogs are going to have a ball too!

That is unspeakably cool. I am very glad to see (and hear about) so much life in the Springs.

I planted $1200 worth of trees in my yard last year. All but two of them died after the deer came through and used the baby tree trunks to de-fuzz their antlers. Can't blame the deer, but I replanted and built simple wire fences around each new tree. Not a problem since.

Ok, FYI, I asked my buddy, and he says we do indeed have some white tails out east.

I guess it's where the deer and the antelope play. LOL

No deer, but a bunch of antelope playing. I took picture last week from our deck.
