The Southern Baptist Disaster Relief teams are on the way to the Front Range to help with the cleanup and recovery. Teams from all over the country will be pouring in to help affected homeowners clean up their damaged properties for free. Since so few people there have flood insurance, this will truly be a God-send!

Right now, the Colorado Baptist's are set up in Longmont and we Oklahoma Baptist's will be establishing a command center at the East Baptist Church in Boulder unless something changes, probably on Friday. I'll be bringing a team of assessors on Friday to begin looking at the damage to see what we can do. We'll be followed rapidly by trained and experienced mud-out crews to do the work. We already have follow up crews being organized because this will be a long-term commitment. Other state's crews will be setting up shop in different places throughout the flooded areas.

I don't yet have a phone number to all for help, but just about any Southern Baptist Church, or the state convention office in Centennial can point you in the right direction.

We Southern Baptist's were there for you kind folks in Colorado during and after the Waldo Canyon fire, the High Park fire and the Black Forest fire. We stayed until the job was finished. We'll stay in the flood zones until it's finished too.
