4 feet plus forecast for the San Juans. I still have a foot on the ground.

Yes, that's what they are calling for in Jim's area. 2 to 4 feet also predicted for the Grand Mesa and the Flattop mountains east of Meeker.

No snow in Mesa County this morning, kinda windy last night.

The San Juans are getting hammered by snow right now, and down here in Cortez it has been snowing steadily. As I type this, big snowflakes are falling from the sky, and there are about a zillion birds at my feeders tanking up against the storm. Heavy snow is forecasted for the rest of today. I'm loving it!

Man I thought that storm would have helped the SW more. Let it snow!

At least the GJ area got a good rain last night. Another round of storms is supposed to hit around 5 this afternoon and from what KREX Channel 8 says it'll come with a punch. If the GJ area doesn't get snow out of tonight's storm, I think that might be it for snow. We'll see though.

The last two storms have been a dud in Pueblo proper although the southern suburbs did get a few inches of snow last night. I am hoping we get more snow in the next storm.

Looks like the accumulations in the San Juans also fell way short of the predicted amounts in most areas.

The next arctic front is here and I am thinking 3-6 inches of snow in Pueblo proper by tomorrow night. We could even have a record low high tomorrow as the current record is 19 and the forecast high is that or colder.

Tonight has been a interesting night in Pueblo as we are under a winter weather advisory and have had freezing rain. Now it has melted a lot of the snow that was left but, also, made the streets icy.
