I just purchased 1.62 acres in Colorado City on Cripple Creek Dr. but I have never been to Colorado and I live in Central WA...can anyone give me a hint as to what I may have gotten myself into or tell me how I can get ahold of the county assesor etc. to see if I got a good price and what the regualtions are on my parcel etc.?

Went to the auction huh? Never been there but you could probably do a web search and a satellite map. If you can afford it ,land is always a good thing to have IMO.

It looks like you're out on Crow Cutoff, the road that takes you to Burnt Mill Road and that sends you north and half way to Pueblo. This road also takes west or north west towards Craver Middle School and between the two sections of the golf course.

You look like you are past most of the existing homes but just before where the road curves and becomes a dirt road. Maybe you can get onto Google maps and look at it.

You should be able to see your street on the second and third pics.

You are somewhere in the area of these pics. I think the pics I took were just about a 1/4 mile too far east of your road, but they look similiar. There's a road there, but not much for services. Oh, you do seem to have fiber optics in that area. Your nearest neighbor would be Craver Middle School.
