Okay, I'm a little perplexed!
How can anyone say that one might need to go to Denver, COS, etc., for shopping and restaurants???? Hellllooooo!!!! Aren't the gazillion discount name brand stores enough?? What about ALL of the restaurants available (and bars)!? I used to drive from SE Aurora to go to Khakis (and that was in the 80's!!)
There are TONS of golf courses, restaurants, bars, gas stations, shopping stores, car dealers, real estate offices, great schools AND,,,,,......the highway to 2 (yes,2) major cities, just minutes away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What more does someone want ( okay, maybe alternative transportation) ohhh, guess what?..There is that too!!!!!
I think most want to be "out" in their own world but, close to everything.
Well, that would be Castle Rock! Maybe Evergreen too but, I digress.

Can you imagine being a few minutes (and I mean just a few) to New York City but, out in the wilderness??? Imagine how much THAT would cost? Even if it truly exists!
I'm just saying!!

I think the commute from CR to Denver or Springs might get old after a while. It looks like it could be quite a trek down the highway from home to I-25, then up I-25 all the way to downtown or at least to the Lincoln station. I think CR would really explode if the light rail went to at least Founders Pkwy. Then again, maybe they voted out of the transportation district for exactly that reason.
