I know this sounds kind of petty, but do any of the cities in CO still have old fashioned Christmas, or is this a thing of the past.........Carollers? Christmas tree lighting for the townsfolk? I don't know if I could actually engage in Christmas Festivities when they are so large, like Rockefeller Square......Too many people, and to much traffic. I am sure downtown Denver puts out quite a sprawl also, but if u don't live down there it isn't as much fun. So, I am looking for a quaint little village that has its own Christmas? And what about Carollers, and downtown windows full of Christmas scenery? hhhhmmmmm
I know I have been watching too much TV.....

Does this still exist in CO cities and towns?

It does, but it seems it is earlier and earlier that each town puts it on. They have something in downtown Littleton every year, but that happened the weekend after Thanksgiving. One you may want to look into is Georgetown-- we went up there last year and it I think had a lot of what you were looking for. They had carollers, decorations everywhere, carriage rides-- it was a lot of fun. I just searched Georgetown Christmas and came up with their site, which should give you more information. I am sure other towns also have similar Christmas events, but I am not aware of them. Hope this helps.

We live in Parker and they will have a Carriage Parade (horse) on Saturday afternoon going down Mainstreet. You can look on the Parker, CO website for more info. That night there is a Tree Lighting Ceremony in the same area. The parade and lighting ceremony does draw somewhat of a crowd, but not at all like downtown Denver or Littleton would.
