you are more than welcome. I have been checking that and www.nmroads.com hourly for two days.

I have a laptop with an aircard...so totally cool to make hotel reservations from the highway...to think this whole silly trip started when a client needed her Tahoe in Vegas and I offered to drive it

....if the realtor industry awarded medals, I would submit your exploits for the Croix de Service, with two Gold Keys, and the Weather Combat Badge for meritorious service above and beyond the Code of Ethics. Bravo!!

Hi, as an FYI for you: I just drove from Santa Fe to Denver on the 28th - the day of the second big storm - in my VW Cabrio. Despite horrible road conditions after Raton and into Pueblo, we did make it without incident BUT I wouldn't recommend it! As far as I can see, the forecast for next week is okay and the locals keep saying these storms are not typical, so you might be okay. Are you driving alone?

We were driving into Albuquerque on the night of the 28th, and we made it as far north as Santa Fe before State Patrol closed I-25.

Thank you Mike! I made it home yesterday from Santa Fe - if you go to the Olive Garden on Cerrilos, tell Kate, the manager we'll miss her.

Her staff kept all the travelers feed and we had a great time with all the other stranded folks. Some Colorado bound and others Texas bound.

Albertsons had bare shelves. Target had no boots, gloves or ice scrapers...

My wonderful neighbors snowplowed our driveway while we were gone...and we only have 4 feet of snow on the deck

Was going to drive alone, but changed mind and am buying plane ticket instead. Got ticket for $195.00 lax-denver so seems easiest.
Thanks everyone for insight and might ask for more advice depending on how the interview goes!

Congratulations on getting home in one piece! I think they were closing I-25 behind us as we ploughed our way north. 10 hours door to door - never again.
