This year's freshmen class is supersized by 500 students larger for a frosh class of approximately 4,400 students. The new newbies are projected to generate $3.5 million in new revenue for USC.

While the cost of education continues to ramp up, students still blow wads of dough, and I predict a couple vacancies in 5pts will fill this fall, the most high profile spaces are probably where invitation station used to be on Harden, where Quiznos used to be on Harden, and the empty new building behind Walgreens.

Yep... I wonder if they can house all those folks on campus? If not the intown rental market should receive a nice boost which is great for landlords...neighborhoods suffering from 'town and gown' issues may not think so though

It has been years since USC had enough dorm rooms for all the freshmen. They put a lot of them up in hotels around the city and wait for the kids that drop out early. Usually by the middle of the winter semester they're all in the dorms.
