AWESOME location for U-Haul---and a great re-purposing of that property!

The 10th ave/MLK location was the first in Columbus to have indoor storage. It was done earlier this year a couple doors down from the existing location.

Anything going in to the former HH Greg location? I've noticed that places like where toys R Us and Chill were have for lease signs but I've never seen one where HH Greg was. Do they have plans for it, or is someone leasing that spot and not doing anything with it at the moment?

HH Gregg building is owned by a different company than Columbus Park buildings, but they're probably just sitting on the building collecting some type of rent.

Yes it is. It’s a large tract of land.

I have not heard much about the HHGregg building. It was odd I was in Buford last week and noticed the one by the mall of Georgia was not for sale or lease either. Have seen former stores in FLA the same way. I’m thinking it maybe something in their bankruptcy where they may not be able to dispose of property yet.

I saw today that there is some construction going on next to Stars and Strikes. Looks like a new entrance is being built. Anyone know what going there?

Quick question about Tom’s Foods. I am familiar with their bankruptcy and subsequent sale of assets to Lance. Also knew they sold and/or closed plants after the lance takeover. Is there still any manufacturing in any of the Columbus buildings? (Toms had candy, pastry and other snack manufacturing plants in Columbus and Macon)
