The property would probably be too expensive to redevelop into that.

You could bribe Whole Foods or Costco into coming in the market with that location.

Building and lot size are to small for both.

I ain't bribing, begging, or groveling to get anybody here. If they don't want to be here, i could care less!

I haven’t been able to find anything about that building being sold.
BJ’s Wholesale sent out bid request for the Old Sears Building. I have not heard anything about any type of indoor D&B type of place moving in.

That's interesting of best buy, that location isn't very big and they own the location on Manchester Expressway, not lease. Also, like someone else said, this is a very busy street. That's why Chick-fil-A built up the road. It would be nice to have a smaller Dave & Busters, Main Event in this spot. Very good visibility.

Main Event would be a great addition? Anyone know what Chris Woodruff is planning for the old holiday Inn site on Manchester? They bought the lot and tore down the hotel bit now it just sits empty.

Main Event does not have Columbus on its radar. I am good friends with a manager at one of the Atlanta area locations. Their next Georgia expansions will be in the next 3-5 years and are scheduled for the cities of Kennesaw and Newnan.

I wouldn't think Columbus would be on their radar either. They're very new to Georgia, with out Cobb & Alpharetta locations, much more growing to do in Atlanta first, but something like that would be great.
