Oakland Park neighborhood is a little gem of north lindent. South linden is not so nice and has high crime, but north linden has some okay or nice neighborhoods like Oakland Park. There really isn't much to walk to here, in terms of restaurants etc, but it is very close to the central city and other interesting areas (by drive, bus, or bike)

The west side location is hit or miss. There are okay neighborhoods and others that are run down. It is very unpredictable, and the west broad commercial strip is highly unattractive.

My bets (in terms of increasing housing values) would be on Oakland Park over the far west side. But I haven't seen either property, and the listing could call something Oakland Park without it truly being in it.

Hmm. Thank you. I'm from out of town and don't want to spend a whole lot of money coming there for something that is roach infested or otherwise miserable. I've been through that before. I can't afford to waste money that way. Thank you so much for your information.

That Lupo Ct location is pretty gross and run down. Its on Oakland Park but its east of Cleveland and not really in the area of Oakland Park the above poster is talking about. Never been to those Lincoln Village aprtmnts so I can't speak on those. Its on the westside, close to Broad street and 270, meehhhhhhhh
