I live by Cleveland and dont know a whole lot about Somalis, I lived and have been in Columbus a lot of times, Ive seen Somalis but never noticed much about them.

What is it that makes you hate them so much?. Im not doubting you or trying to make them sound like perfect people, but can you give me some examples of things they did to you or things that you have heard that made you hate them so much?

I hate the way they treat women like there not even people. So many times has there been a somili man showing disrespect to my mother or any other female that I know by calling them a racial slur and dirty things just because there color and gender. I hate how if I said something bad because of the disrespect shown the first thing they do is pull a gun. I hate that every time I go to a somili shop in Northland and I don't buy something they tell me to go back to the ghetto. I've heard them tell whites to go back to the hills and F there cuzz. I've heard them tell blacks to go back to winstor terrace. I hate the drugs they bring here from there country that only causes more problems with crime in my area which means more murders, drive-bys, shootings and fights. When a good person stands up and calls the police it takes them about 30min to and hour to get there. I've had friends die because the problems that lead to drugs.
I hate the somili gangs that try to be like SNP,WTP and 22nd even acouple have got up to those ranks like A1 and CP. The gangs are even in the schools and if you show disrespect to them they'll jump you in the bathroom or even in front of your house.

Theres alot of reasons but i'm kinda tried so if you want me to tomarrow I will tell you every single thing down to the last detail about why I dislike them.

I may be moving to Columbus from Puerto Rico next January... and I am very concern, as you are, about the race factor. People have so many wrong stereotypes about us, puertoricans.. many people think we are all ignorant and criminals...well, the truth is we are not. I have an education and I will be moving to work not to depend on goverment support. I will be moving with my family and I hope that my kids will not have any problems with racism at all. I am very proud of my heritage and my cultural mix and I think that Columbus will be a great place to raise our family.

In my experience, Columbus is less racist than most places. You shouldnt have a problem.

However, if you didnt know already, Columbus doesnt have that big of a puerto rican community, or really even a hispanic community. There is some, but still not many. If your coming from Puerto rico(or anyplace with a large hispanic community), there will seem like theres none at all. Columbus seems to be increasing in diversity though.

Say come because as far as jobs is concerned and quality of life and to me being a brother and married no kids we was looking at columbus for a long time and did not capture the opportunity to lived there. Insteadto atlanta now we are going back to columbus indefinetly in Jan09 far as blacks and Mr. & mrs Charlie is concerned i do not believe you will have a problem.IFme looking like biggie smalls has not had a problem with the police i do not think you will.now do not get me wrong we were at the easton, polaris side if life $$$ so to me im setting up roots there and i am not going nowwhere else period.i've moved to much in the last 3 yrs so columbus is where its at.if you wnat to exchange e-mails with my wife so you will know someone dwn there we are cool with that.as far as us knowing anyone dwn there we do not but in the times i've been there no problems lots to do and i am excited BIG TIME!!!
