I will be visiting Germany, and will be there for three months. I will be bringing my laptop, and was wondering what the options were as far as internet access? At this time my grandmother whom I'll be staying with has no internet. Does anyone know if I could get access for only 3 months while I'm there, and if what are the options? I really don't care about the speed, so dial-up would be ok. I realize here in the states we have 120volts and I will have to get an adapter for 220volts.
THANK"S!
Maybe you could get a pre-paid USB cellular dongle instead of something wired. They also probably have places you can take your laptop to and use wifi.
Your laptop's power supply can accept power anywhere in the world. You'll just need a cheap adapter to physically make the prongs fit in the wall.
