Which brand of flash drive is the most reliable? There are a lot of different brands on Amazon but a lot of them have complaints in their comments.

Thanks

I've always used Kensington drives without issue.

I don't think I've ever actually had one fail. It probably doesn't really matter.

I just did. About a week ago and I lost a few hundred photos.
But, that is a first, and I generally buy them as cheap as I can get them. I don't expect to consider this one failure when I buy in the future.

It matters a lot if you lose your documents. Right now I have two backup copies of everything.

Doesn't matter what you buy, the possibility of failure is always there. This won't be an issue if you have proper backups, meaning more than one copy of important files.

Just curious, how did it fail? Did your system stop recognizing the device?

A also had one fail. No matter what computer I stuck it in, the computer wanted to format it. It was a Lexar and I've also had PNY's fail too.
