What's the oldest computer you have, and what is the OS?
Mine is a COMPAQ Presario SR5210NX desktop. Bought it in 2007. Upgraded memory years ago. Came with Vista HP. Upgraded to Win 7 HP. Now running dual Os's .... Win 7 and Ubuntu 14.04.
Never had any hware problems with it.... keeps on ticking.
I currently have a Gateway about 15 years old with clean install of XP on it, was keeping it around for emergency use. I have it on CL for $40. Maybe I could convince Dude to "upgrade" and sell it to him.
I have commodore 64 from 1984, with SID 6581 sound chip, floppy discs, joysticks, and all the stuff.
The Commodore 64 has sold more than any other computer in history. The Guinness Book of Records estimates that there were about 30 MILLION units pushed out of Commodore plants, which soundly thrashed the competition for years!
Looks like this:
I had six C=64s at one time, and yeah the Timex Sinclair with the abysmal add on memory that kept coming unplugged. There is an original Mac sitting in the other room that needs to be tossed. The Apple ][ went a while back. I have a working laptop from about '96 w/ 95 on it. The hinges are toast but if I prop the screen up it still works.

I still have a 486 Windows 98 machine, but have not turned it on in about 9 years. It has software that cost me $10,000 back in 1998, so I hated to just throw it away, and it also has a lot of old business files that I could have needed in case of an IRS audit. I guess the 7 year limit has passed now so I should recycle it.
