I don't personally have a complaint, I've never taken my computer to Best Buy to have it repaired, nor have I had the Geek Squad over to my house to work on my computer.

I know quite a few people though who have had nothing but bad experiences with computer upgrade or repair at Best Buy. So I thought it would be nice to have a thread for people to vent who had the same experiences. I hear so often how you take your computer to a place like this and they find way more problems than originally existed, a simple power supply replacement turns into needing a new hard drive, motherboard, etc.

And of course no offense to any Geek Squad employees.

FWIW, the City-Data Forum TOS says:

I agree with the previous post. Besides, you can get good or bad service form any store or company. It usually depends on the person doing the work instead of the general staff.

Yes I know that already, but some places are worse than others. Lighten up.

Anyhow please close this thread mod's, I didn't mean to offend people and it obviously won't work. Thank You.

A lot of people tell me they were going to call them until they found out they were part of Best Buy.
