Greetings, y'all!
I'm wondering if it is common this time of year for advertisers to send out blitzes for holiday sales. I am being inundated with emails from companies I do business with for their sales, at an uncommonly high rate.
Maybe it's the economy at this time, but it does seem excessive.
Does anyone else have this experience at this time??
Yeah everyone I've ever bought anything from online is sending me email constantly. Its pretty common this time of year but might be worse because of the economy. Spam is such a cheap way to advertise.

That is so the truth! A couple of the companies I deal with are sending me notices of their sale EVERY day!
Ditto with a capital D from this neck of the woods. I've actually unsubscribed from most.
Yes, I'm about to do that, as well. This morning Amazon sent me 2 messages, exactly the same, 5 minutes apart!!! Sheesh! I already did my shopping!!!!!
I block email from them in my email program. After Xmas I can unblock them.
Do you use Outlook or some other program? I use gmail and yahoo primarily and have to use the "block addresses" or filter options to accomplish that. There are only a small number of addresses that can be blocked at any one time, so the effect is limited.
Today I'm unsubscribing to anything that comes in.
