How many of those where full time job created vs part time. And how many of those lost where full time vs part time. Hearing X jobs created is great and all, but at this point if their not full time, it realistically is not accomplishing what most unemployed people need to get back on their feet.

My company also has plans to layoff about 350 jobs in the near future.

350 in Ct, nep? Obviously, if its in your hometown, I think I can guess who it is. A deceased good friend temped there, and if its the same corp, they have been sporadic regarding employment for quite some time.

It's not in my hometown lol. It's split between Hartford and Boston areas.

Not surprising...CT is ALWAYS a couple years behind the trend. We have not hit the bottom the rest of the nation has. They will recover before us as well.

True, JViello, actually in general New England enters and leaves recessions amongst the latest in the nation regularly. I've noticied in my region the new job/facility announcements naturally leading the recovery by months.
