I was curious so I chose a random house in Fairport, NY (a suburb of Rochester). On a house assessed at $257k, their taxes were 8k. In another suburb, Brighton, a house valued at $170k had taxes of 7k.much higher than CT. Granted you get a lot more house for your money up there...

Yep, the taxes sure are higher on Multi-Family properties in upstate NY. Tell me again now, in what craptastic city in CT might i find a MF property with lower taxes than the above?
