Usually when people say "The Valley" they mean the Naugatuck Valley. I've never heard anyone from Farmington or the CT River area refer to their home as "The Valley".

Our most recent was an agent out of Milford. I'll DM you his name - he might be able to work with you or recommend someone good in your area.

Let us know how it turns out.
Thanks so much! I'll keep you updated.

Actually I have family that live in Farmington River Valley and they do refer to it as just "The Valley" on occasion. I will say it is not as often as you hear people calling the Naugatuck River Valley that though. Jay

That could be part of the problem. A prospective buyer is going to look at the data on when you bought it, and for how much. It's possible that someone may have dismissed making an offer because they figured you wouldn't be able to close the deal.

That may be true. But, if you're paying a standard commission, you should expect them to conduct open houses. If it's a "discount" broker, then yeah, you should expect fewer services.

Actually, it's quite common here in the (Farmington) Valley to refer to it as "the Valley."
