I am white and took the bus to work into hartford

Virtually everyone on the bus was white and wealthy

Just curious, but how did you determine the wealth status of your fellow riders?

That doesn't really mean much. There are hundreds of poor people in Hartford on Section 8 who know how to game the system and they have the latest fashions, nicest clothes, etc. My family is wealthy and we wear boring clothes from Kohl's and stuff. And aside from one Camaro, we drive cars that are under $25K in price. You would never know that we are wealthy. To become wealthy, you must live below your means, but within your needs.

I think statistically it does and we were commuting from wealthy pickup spots

So on average these were wealthy people

I also talked to some about their jobs in hartford and they had high positions that paid a lot

Well I think we found the first busline in America that's utilized by wealthy white folks. I'm impressed!
