Maybe, the Rochester/CT area will get another October snowstorm that severe .

Uh, no. If you had experienced it first hand, you would not be making this comment.

From a meteorological standpoint it was truly fascinating, from a witness point of view it was scary. At one point (after power went out) I thought the landscape would just flatten out. Pops from trees and hums from transformers are embedded in my mind.

At 5 inches I said another 3 and we're gonna see severe damage. It never accumulated more than 6. But seeing points northern Fairfield/Litchfield get over a foot I knew what they were going through.

Back and forth after Saturday. Latest says struggle past 60s Saturday through Tuesday. Lets call it most of the day below 70. Max might be low 70s. We'll see. Either way that's pretty chilly for mid September.

Absolutely agree. 9 days without power still fresh in my mind, as much as I normally welcome snow.

Agreed. I like snow but let's keep it in the proper season: winter!

Watching VERY closely the air to our west. Wind chills are in the 20s & 30s. That's crazy! It will relate to how our air will be here. If it seems to lessen its grip, we wont be too chilly.. Latest models seemed to have gotten colder for us.. Will check latest this afternoon. Maybe we wont get out of 60s a couple days and 40s/50s at night.
