Take a look what GFS12z Data shows for Danbury, CT.

It's been since June many of us haven't seen 40s..

1st column time & date
2nd column temps at that time and date
3rd column surface pressure
4th column temps at the layer above us (4000')

Now these aren't the actual max/mins but I don't see 70s much in the picture after today.

By 8pm it says Danbury will be near 60. By 8pm Sunday it will be 51°

Either way..looks like some chilly days/nights coming after tomorrow.

Today: Hurricane Erin:

Hurricane Erin was expected to make landfall in NYC during the morning hours of 9/11. Hurricane Erin would have made landfall within the Tri-State area with 120MPH winds (Cat 3). Hours before Tower #1 was hit, a very strong high pressure knocked the storm out and Erin made a sharp NW turn. I wonder if 9/11 would be different if Erin hit...

Open the doors and windows. Do you feel the change?

Dewpoints went from 70 to 51 at BDR within 8hrs.
72 to 55 in 6hrs in Atlantic City.

Gotta love those North Winds.
