The Music & Arts Center on Main Street in East Hartford, right over the Glastonbury town line offer music teaching. I know they have violin but do not know the teachers. There are many with most being music teachers from schools or professional musicians looking to earn extra money. Jay

Were you the poster looking for a piano a few months back? Did you ever find one?

Music & Arts is always a place to start. You can also try the Hartt School at the University of Hartford. They have a lot of music teachers and some are willing to travel.

Keep in mind that the Hartt School is in West Hartford which not near Glastonbury. That means someone will have to drive the student up there and wait for them for a lesson. It also means that you will be driving through Hartford so I would recommend avoiding this during rush hours. Jay

As I posted above, there are teachers from the Hartt school that do travel. A family I know that lives in Northeast Glastonbury (the subdivision near Manchester and a golf course off of 83 - Minnechaug? ) has a piano teacher from Hartt School come to their home each week.
