OK, I did put my town in my name, but I was trying not to bash, directly... trying to be polite. Sorry, it hasn't been sunshine and roses, especially with the special education fiasco...

Fairfax and Loudoun counties aren't rat racey? I was just down there over the weekend, listening to friends with small kids describe how competitive everything is. Sounds like the school systems are at a real crossroads too due to severe overcrowding. I don't disagree that Darien is competitive, but the grass isn't always greener.
