You don't see Long Island Sound like this too often.. No storm around (Not because of Dorian off Florida coast). It's thanks to the High Pressure over Nova Scotia and the Cold front. Pressure gradient tightened up causing winds to pick up.

Some stills

Rafts in the water without people.

Could almost surf on it. Ok, maybe not.

Just from heavy rain earlier. How do people live near the water like this? I would love the views but hate the insurance costs.

I found someone I wanna be friends with. Weather station!

Lyman remains my favorite farm in Connecticut.

1,100 acres of scenic farmland

Inside the Apple crops. Hill in the backdrop. Deceiving drop in front

Mmmmm. Peach crop looked great this year. Last yr (or the yr before) there was none thanks to a late freeze in April.

Apples crop looked great too. Honey Crisps were ready.

Sky and temps were perfect! Started off in the chilly 50s but 60s came with the sun rising higher. Dry day

Pears were ready too. Asian types I didn't get a picture of. They are smaller and round. These kinds are the typical Pears around here.

Pumpkin Patch. See anything?

September 8th morning.

Got a chance to walk around some of the eastern cities the other day. Figured I'd share a few photos I took of them here.

I always knew you stalked the squirrels, and now I finally have proof.

At Haystack Mountain State Park. We didn't have time for the hike to the top. Hopefully, next time!
