Another video, this time walking at night through SONO in Norwalk, Connecticut (including walking by The Maritime Aquarium and The SONO Collection mall.) Those fancy light fixtures lining many streets in SONO are so beautiful! I haven’t seen many light those.

Don’t forget where you are.

What happened at Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk, CT when the USA was still the “new kid on the block?”

Well, go to the beach itself and read this…

Connecticut is full of history and not just the history of its own state. In Ohio there is a town named after Norwalk, CT for a reason!

With temperatures in the 60's F and all the recent rain, the buds and flowers seemed to have come on strong in the last week or so:

Early Spring in Connecticut

PS. It says Cherry Blossoms, but I think those are Dogwoods. They do look similar when they first bloom.

Those are cherry blossoms. Dogwoods bloom after cherry and the flowers are a warmer pink.

"With three varieties of cherry trees, Mill River Park is home to the largest cherry tree grove in New England."

Thanks for that. Was completely oblivious it was the largest of its kind in CT.

Is it me or does Stamford has quite a few things that are first in their types in CT?
Park Tower - Tallest residential building in CT.

Stamford Cone - Largest in the world when it was built and today it’s probably still the largest in CT.

WWE American Flag - Largest American flag I don’t remember if in CT or New England.

WWE Championship Belt Monument - Largest of its type in the world.

Barnes & Noble @ Stamford Town Center - I don’t know if its still this, but for a long time it was the largest bookstore in CT.
Is there something else? What about in the surrounding towns?
