June 24, 2020. They blocked off the last block of Greenwich Avenue to arrange for outdoor seating since we can't dine inside with too many people. #Coronavirus

They set up the tables right on the Avenue. Pretty cool actually.

Facing towards the blocked off area

Pattern has been super dry here since Mid May and got hot past 2 weeks.

Colors changing at least 2 weeks earlier than normal this year thanks to the drought and that cold blast we had. Plus no hot pattern.

Lack of rain could be an issue with a lot of leaves falling off quick or not going to turn vibrant. Sugar Maples seems to be doing ok.

Anyway ... 5 pictures from SouthWest Connecticut Area this morning

That time of the year.

September 20, 2020: Lynman's Orchards:

Everything was still pretty green but you can see subtle signs of changing on some trees.

Mmmmm Fresh Apples right from the tree.

Picking Apples was fine, farm big enough where people weren't close to eachother. Picking Pumpkins you had to make sure you social distanced.

In the Apple Barrel Market...Big mistake. The kid at the door must of counted wrong. We got in and we can barely move around freely. Not good. Everyone had masks on but it was uncomfortable inside.

October 4, 2020. March Farms in Salisbury, CT

Small market, big crowd. Must be mostly locals since I wouldn't go back to this place. Cool spot for the farm but the market was small. Looks can be deceiving.

Little Pumpkin Patch , not at the farm, this was in route to it.

Was such a beautiful day!! Morning 50s. Dews in the 40s. Slight breeze.
Past by this spot on the way to the Farm. LOVE scenes like this

Little lake on Route 63.

Route 8, surprised not more color to be honest. Maybe there are more Oaks in the bunch. But you can see its not deep green anymore. Light green and some yellows in there.

Now how cool is this spot? On Route 73 off Route 8. Waterbury. You don't see old factory's anymore. Looks like there are some businesses using it too,.

Just looking at it brings me back to the past. Love it.

Driving back from the farm on Munger Lane a Bear crossed the road up ahead in front of me. Was very cool to see!! I love Litchfield County. I turned into the neighborhood and a local was outside looking to see what just made the noise running in the woods. I told him a bear and he was excited like me. He started looking for it and saw the Mama Bear too. Wow! Cool! No calling authorities here unlike the crappy place of Fairfield county.

Nice to finally get out there and take some pics! Went down to the beach this morning.

December 18, 2020: 27°

Day #3 with snow on ground.

Lets walk to the beach.

6" snow pack. Some spots had 10" from the drifting. 6 was the average I found
