Long Island Sound Slushing up.

I still can't believe this was frozen February 2015. That was a surreal scene.

Video.

It was my perfect storm! February 7, 2021

Day time snowfall.
Quick hitter
No wind/slight breeze at times
Over half foot snow total
High Ratio snows
Sticking to trees
Intense snow rates for few hours
Some clearing at the end in time for the sunset
Sunrise to Sunset snowstorm on Superbowl Sunday.

Incredible views and awesome storm! In the books! LOVE!

Took a ride to the beach before midway into the storm. They got double this amount afterwards.

Can't see Long Island or the sound. Visibility was under 1/4 mile

This pond should freezing over soon.

No wind

So many beautiful winter photos this year. Mother Nature gave us so much while we waited.

Funny "Old Post Office" sign in the middle here at Scribner Park to the right.

Adam Scribner Museum next to it

Took a Ride on RT136 this morning. It was so enjoyable! Nobody behind me for miles

Waters are still frozen.

In Monroe

This is one thing I love about CT... Aside from the winters.... Not far from the coast yet we have these notable hills and valleys

Lake on the left, frozen

Did I tell you how much I love the Canton, Avon, Farmington Area in CT?

Derrin House 1810. RT 167

1865 Pine Grove School House.

Check out this area. What was once dense woods with a ton of Pine trees they build roads and homes. Loving those lanterns!

This place must stay like 10 degrees cooler in the summer with the canopy of trees and shade.

Not sure the size and acres of this place but you can drive around for a little bit and get lost.
You can tell you were still within the development by the lanterns
No speed bumps too!

Just checked... 500 Acres
