Amazing sunset tonight September 8, 2014!! I'm seeing so many pictures from everywhere in the Northeast. Amazing pics!

I was on the road when it happened so all I have is a 1 yr old cell phone shot.

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TAUNTON MA
729 PM EDT MON SEP 8 2014

.SYNOPSIS...
HIGH PRESSURE OVER NORTHERN NEW ENGLAND WILL BRING FAIR WEATHER TO
SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

.NEAR TERM /UNTIL 6 AM TUESDAY MORNING/...
730 PM UPDATE...

HIGH LEVEL CLOUDS ASSOCIATE WITH A LOW PRESSURE IN THE MID
ATLANTIC STATES HAVE ARRIVED ACROSS SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND. THESE
CLOUDS WERE THE MOST DENSE TOWARD THE SOUTH COAST...WHICH MAY MAKE
TEMPERATURES TRICKY. OTHERWISE...DECENT RADIATIONAL COOLING
CONDITIONS IN PLACE ACROSS THE INTERIOR.

TONIGHT...

OBSERVATIONS SHOW SOME CIRRUS-LEVEL MOISTURE WITH THE THICKEST
CONCENTRATION IN THE SOUTH. SHOULD BE A FAIR NIGHT WITH LIGHT
WINDS AWAY FROM THE COAST AND A LIGHT EAST-NORTHEAST WIND AT THE
COAST. THE LIGHT WIND AND FAIR SKIES MAY ALLOW SOME FOG IN THE
INTERIOR. DEW POINTS 45 TO 55 SHOULD ALLOW MIN TEMPS 48 TO 60 WITH
A FEW COLD SPOTS IN THE MID 40S.

I had the pleasure of working in a home today in South Norwalk. It was right on the water. Sits in the Harbor but open to the Long Island Sound. Amazing views. Makes you forget you're in South Norwalk and had to pass a not so great area.

It was warmer here then just 10 minutes inland but it was windier here than 10 minutes in.. 76°F with a strong sun still.

Can that fan blade be any more level? :-)

Another view of the Norwalk,CT Harbor facing Long Island

How often do you see a design like this in CT? Architect was featured in a book for this.

They built the home where water will go underneath into a crawl space then back out. Hurricane Sandy surge came close to the windows though.

Will it be my last ripe harvest of the yr? Lots of greens still left. Best looking heart shape tomato pick this year

When you see the bottom rocks, you know there hasn't been much rain around..

1.04" of rain this month so far is 7th driest September on record.(since 1948) at BDR
