I saw map on website so I just share

Yeah. Add Cheshire and Rocky Hill to that questionable "Working Class" list. I am trying to figure out what is preppy upper middle class about Manchester and Vernon too.

And I would hardly characterize Hartford as "Detroit". It is the largest employment center in the state with more than 112,000 jobs. But maybe that is just me. Jay

Made mostly by unknowledgeable suburbanites who know nothing about the city except what they see on the news. Jay

Yeah there's a lot wrong with that map, even if it's going for humor.

Detroit is coming back strong. Real estate is being flipped, prices are climbing more so than CT. Still has issues no doubt.
Bankruptcy was the savior

West Hartford, Avon, Simsbury, Glastonbury is wannabe Fairfield County which is in Hartford area. Milford Post Road and New Haven Avenue area is working class overall average income in Milford is 70-80k a year solid middle class town. The towns you posted they are on border line of working class/middle class. Towns west of New Haven like Guilford, Madison are different league but below uber rich FFC towns.

I don’t think you know Milford. New Haven Ave crosses through the section of town with 100k+ HHI. The strong working class area is Devon. Median HHI in 2016 is $86,495.

What are you talking about? Towns like Southbury, Middlebury, Oxford and Orange are all upper middle class... they are not working class. They all have house hold incomes over 100k, just like Guilford/Madison...
