Thank goodness your not getting much..... You guys got hammerd a couple weeks ago! (My uncle lives in brooklin and got 14" on one of them)

Ok, this is what I was waiting to see. It's happening now.

Lots of moisture push off the Atlantic still and what appears to be more mature bands now.
We'll have to see if they reach us.




Last 4 hrs. Watch the purple heavy band enter CT couple hrs ago but then fizzle out. All day they just been breaking apart. We'll see if these new ones come on shore in couple hours as the storm pulls away.

Started to snow in Glastonbury around 5. I drove up to South Windsor and could definitely see we were on the edge. By 6:30 it was starting to stick back down here.

That's funny because at 6:00 channel 2 was in Riverdale in an area I'm very familiar with (have relatives in that particular part of the neighborhood) and even the side road was a little snow covered. They noted how a plow came by and accidentally knocked off a manhole cover and the police came by to put it back on. While I wouldn't call it a 2 foot blizzard there was plenty of snow there!

Snow is finally sticking to road in lower Fairfield County we have 4.5 hours of snow before it tapper off
