All this southern flow and no warmth! Is the sun that weak?

Looks like a rain break in couple hours!

Loop last 4 hrs. Temps are in the 50s this afternoon from Philly all over CT and up to Boston.

I used all the coordinates for locations from the survey report. https://nwschat.weather.gov/p.php?pi...-NOUS41-PNSOKX.

Tornadoes in Red.
Bursts in Yellow.

Only one that didn't have coordinates was the Macroburst in Kent, NY but said it was 4 miles long so I just clicked a 4 mile path starting in the Terryhill area.

The Macroburst in New Fairfield and Brookfield was the longest at 9 miles.

Wasn't there a tornado in Barkhamsted and Winsted?
Granted Barkhamsted didn't make landfall. Interesting factoid heard on the news the Barkhamsted tornado was the only one in CT that was a windswept tornado the rest were rain swept.

It wasn't confirmed. They didn't find damage from it.

2pm Map. Mid Afternoon and its still in the 50s from Philly into Southern New England. Well below normal. It's Warmer in Northern Maine than D.C

I’m just to tired to rant right now. But I’m dying for some drier weather so I could cleanup. Lots of leaves and stuff on the driveway, deck, outdoor toys and such that need to be cleaned off. Even the house needs a quick spray down with the power wasger. I need to drain the pool cover and finish the brush cleanup so I can mow. Now that you all know my list the wet and crummy days dragging on aren’t helping. Especially with the pool opening a week away.

End rant

Some Sunday morning reading for you guys...

Good reading here. (Not about the temperature trends)

"Despite What You've Heard, Global Warming Isn't Making Weather More Extreme"

https://www.investors.com/politics/e...-more-extreme/

"look at the series of charts below, which are taken from government sites, that depict trends in hurricanes, tornadoes, droughts and wildfires — all of which should be, according to environmentalists, on the uptrend."
