It happened.

11 days in a row the max temp stayed below normal.. Last time it happened was Dec 25, 2017 - Jan 8, 2018.

So we went all Spring, Summer, Fall, & WINTER without doing it then March hits, Boom.

About that March/October sun angle.

8 days in a row with 1"+ snowpack and I've only been losing 1/2"-1" past 4 days with sunny skies.

This morning down to 5.5"

March 1: 0.9"
March 2: 3.4"
March 3: 1.5"
March 4: 11.0"
March 5: 8.0"
March 6: 7.5"
March 7: 7.0"
March 8: 6.5"
March 9: 5.5"

Full sun and very little melting

Enjoy the time change tomorrow! Yay? Post 7-am sunrises again...

6:13 AM
5:50 PM

11 Hours 37 Minutes TOTAL

Heading to Manhattan shortly. Even they have their precip holding off until well after sunset (coming from the southwest).

UGH! I have to reprogram my wakeup light again, I like it to come on before 6am. Dark mornings are so depressing.

Looks like may be a bit more wintry for CT than originially expected. Winter Weather Advisory for entire state tomorrow from very early morning until noon for sleet and freezing rain.....

Now that I get up later I don't care, but we do switch the clocks too early these days. If it creates dark mornings again, it's not worth it.

IMO: I know this has been already discussed, CT and the other NE states should be on Atlantic Time - that'll fix it.

Just "cold" enough to do so.
I'm not jealous, I'll take my tomorrow early AM rain starting late tonight.

A side note: The incorrect original forecast for here in SWNJ called for a chance of a rain shower yesterday, instead we got several hours of wet snow like Cambium noted but it didn't stick much - just a very fine coating on the grassy surfaces already gone by 9am this morning.
